4 Steps to Get an Orthopedic Surgery: As A Medical Tourism Treatment

During these steps you'll be guided by our International Patient Coordinator; Baris Akpinar. He'll answer all your questions before your arrival, during your stay, and after your operation!

CONSULTATION

Remote Consultation should be done with care. You'll be in contact with a real medical consultant and our surgeon. You'll be informed by emails, WhatsApp texts and phone calls. You can ask all your questions to our international patient coordinator with no hesitation. After we understand your medical needs then an X-ray or other radiologic tests may be expected by our surgeon in order to suggest you the best treatment. After radiologic assesment, we'll send you a medical history form that includes questions about your age, current medical condition, previous surgeries, medications that you take, allergies, smoking, and alcohol usage. We will truly understand your condition by your explanation, medical history form, and your X-rays. Then, we are going to be able to go further for the next step; Treatment Plan!

TREATMENT PLAN, PACKAGE and COST PRESENTATION

We'll explain your treatment to you in clear language. All risks, costs, services, and methods will be explained by our international patient coordinator and surgeon. You'll receive a detailed invoice statement, so you can easily understand your treatment cost with no hidden (extra) costs.

Some cases may have more than one treatment option, in this scenario, we will explain your options and which is recommended by our doctor, and why. The choice will be yours as always.

If you want to book your own accommodation or if you want additional treatments, then all you need to do is just ask for it! We're going to extract or add the services you want.

AGREEMENT, THE DATE OF THE TREATMENT and DEPOSIT

When you feel that Onvural Orthopedics is the clinic that you want to come to, we are going to send you our treatment plan with our doctor's signature.

Like all the global medical and accommodation services, we request a %10 deposit for our medical services. This is a refundable deposit and the remaining balance will be paid before your treatment/surgery starts.

We would be pleased if you tell us the exact date of your arrival before 2 weeks. We need that time to arrange your accommodation, transfers and schedule our patients.

ARRIVAL AND THE TREATMENT PROCEDURE

This is a great part for you because you don't need to put in any effort after your arrival. Your journey is not an unexpected one. Our international patient coordinator will welcome you in the airport and he will be with you till you take off again! Arrival day is an off day. After a long flight and all the international procedures, you deserve to rest. If your treatment is a one-day job then on the second day all will be done. If your treatment is surgery-related then please continue reading. The 2nd day is the check-up day and blood tests will be run. This is a standard procedure before the surgery day because we need to be sure about the patient's condition.

The 3rd Day will be the Surgery day. As always, you'll be with your international patient coordinator and doctor. Everything will be done as mentioned. Depending on the surgery, you may stay at the hospital for 2 to 5 days. Physiotherapy sessions,if needed, will start from the 4th day till the end of your stay.

When all stages of the treatment are completed, you'll be transferred to the airport with our VIP transportation service. For the next 2 months, our team will be in contact with you to help you with your questions and remind you of the exercises that need to be done. Our phone will always be open to your communication!
